Can't send Text Messages all of a sudden...

I recently started experiencing this problem tonight. I can no longer send text messages with out getting a (0002) error. I can receive them fine, but no matter who I try to send one to I get that error. I have full signal strength and can access the internet without an issue. I have tried a soft reset as well with no luck. Does anyone have any experience with this? FWIW, the phone is a 755p.

:frustrateIve just noticed/encountered this same issue:irked:all of a sudden I get a message on my Centro that the number doesnt exsist..and on my other phone (M520) im getting a network issue message. WHAT THE HECKS GOIN ON:confused:

My girlfriend has a Centro on Sprint and is having no issue. Of course she is in VA and I'm in TN. Maybe its localized...? This is getting frustrating, but hopefully its just temporary.

I have the same issue. Error 97.. I can get text, but can't send. Glad to know it's not just me.

So much for TS. I called Tech Support - Got the recording saying the wait time would be at least 20+ minutes. Too lazy to sit on hold.. i'll just wait to see if they resolve.

Just did ESN swap and can't text either with same error messages. Oh, yeah, I can't call out either although my internet works super :(

How long ago did you do the ESN swap? Provisioning can take up to 4 hours to complete, though it's usually much faster.

It's been 2 hours so far. The other swapped phone works fine. Just the Centro. The number is programmed in correctly. Just cant make/receive calls or texts.

Ok it's fixed now! I shoud have called TS sooner. The msid needed to match the tn. I wish the rep would have know that since I had to call several but oh well. My texting is back online too.
