Ok guys, here is one for ya. I have two lines where one is out of contract and the other one ends in 7 days. I was thinking about renewing them and upgrading the phone. Now if I decide that I want to port one of the other numbers to another carrier, would I be able to cancel the contract with that line within 30 days?

after doing an upgrade you do get the 30 day trial to try your new phone, if you decide that phone isn't going to work go back to the store that set you up and cancel out and give them your equipment and have them reactivate your old phone.
the contract goes away at that time, it may show but they need to note that it was within 30 days and to honor your old expire date
customer service will argue this but its in the T&Cs when you renew
