They call every single DAY!!! I told them I am not interested in adding another line. I told them that I would rather they not contact me. They continue to call the cell each and every day - sometimes TWICE! How can I put a stop to this once and for all?

Be very firm and tell them to put you on the don-not-call list. Ask for a supervisor and get their name and id and inform them if you get anymore calls from them without your asking, you will report them to the police for harassment. It may, however, take them up to a week to totally remove your name from the list though.

There is a point where this becomes harassment, even if you have a 'business' association with them. Record times and dates, and names if possible. Then contact a lawyer, or just the police to file an order.

I have to agree, get a manager involved and explain to them the calls you're getting. I would note they're name and some sort of ID number for reference.

The same girl kept calling me so her and I are going out for drinks on Friday.. LOL
Just kidding, my wife would kill me if I were actually serious. I had the same problem and after speaking to numerous CS reps, a supervisor and a manager (so they told me) the calls still didn't stop.
I ended up calling *2 and saying "cancel" to get retentions on the line and threatened to cancel if the telesales calls didn't stop and they actually got it taken care of and I haven't gotten a call since and this was a little over a year ago.
I actually was going to cancel over this to, these people were calling 2-3 times a day to try to sell me a plan that they claimed would save me money and I was already on a SERO plan, the only thing they could do to beat SERO is pay me to use Sprint.
I asked these geniuses if they even knew what plan I was on and they said of course, that's why they're calling to save me money every month. So I was like ok, tell me the plan I'm on and how the $60 plan you're offering is going to save me money vs. the $30 plan I'm already on and they couldn't even respond. One admitted that they didn't have access to see my account and they're instructed to transfer the lead to the real telesales to complete the sale and that they were just doing cold calls from a list in their computer. I swear these guys were driving me crazy so I feel where you're coming from.

Man, thats awful... You need to request fifm for this... even though its free. ask them what can they give you for your time talking to them.
Man, the next time the call me, I will ask them if they will give me $5 credit to my account if I am not satisfied with what they have to tell me and wasting my time listening to them. That should put things into perspective.

They ended up giving me my 6pm n/w's free for the hassle. I actually told them they didn't have to give me anything and I just wanted the calls to stop (I knew I was on SERO so I felt like I had a good enough deal) but they insisted that they felt it was the least they could do. I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth :tu:

I added all 5 of my lines to the Do Not Call Registry. I could swear I have done it in the past but just in case.... I also fired off an e-mail to e-care regarding the same. At least I have my request in writing now. It was getting completely ridiculous. Thanks all for your assistance and replies.

All you need to do is call the marketing opt-out number @ 800-865-7786
THIS IS A SPRINT SUPPORTED number you will be calling. So you just call in and enter a phone number on the account you don't want to be called anymore, and then you will stop getting these calls. It works great!
I did it!
This is the automated system - its awesome!
Solves these problems.
So Sprint does give you a way to freely opt out at your convenience!

Dialing as we speak! I actually do not mind that they call every now and then because they sometimes offer good deals but I just cannot put up with them everyday and my husband has absolutely NO patience for them at all. So since they seem unable to control themselves, I am going to opt out. Thanks so much.

The next time one of them calls you, try asking for their home or mobile number, of course they're not going to give it to you but when they ask why, explain to them that you work for (insert any fake company name here) and tell them that you'd love to call them from time to time to offer them great deals on (insert fake product name here) services or products. You can always ask for their work number or extension and mention you would enjoy enjoy calling them on a daily basis to offer them great things.
The most important part of this is to keep a straight face through the whole conversation and try not to laugh. I did this to a telemarketer before and they were speechless.
I think this was actually in a Seinfeld episode too but I did this before I even saw the episode and I was dying laughing when I saw him do this on TV.

A man after my own heart  Reminds me of when I receive all that junk mail. I take all the postage paid envelopes, fill them with other meaningless junk mail and perfume samples, etc... and mail that crap right back. Try it. It makes you feel better :hee: Just make sure you do not include anything with your name and address in it. They might actually send you a product...lol.
