It f'ing sucks *****. That is all.
Seriously. The incoming sound quality is excellent. But 7 out of the 8 people I called told me I sounded like utter crap. It was a mix between cell phones and landlines. I even called my other phones voicemail to hear for myself. Stay away. I wondered why the price dropped from 129 to 59 on newegg. Ok seriously I did read all the reviews but I didnt pay for this so Im only halfway mad.

So whats a really really good bluetooth piece for both incoming and outgoing sound quality?

Motorokr s9 is good if you can stand wearing headphone while talking, it's a bit tricky on placement as well.
With the microphone being in the ear canal if the seal inside your ear with the ear piece isn't tight enough any ambient sound is amplified in to the mic and it causes the person on the other end of the phone pain.

I never heard of it, so I looked it up on Amazon. I think your problem might be the same as one of the Amazon reviewers'.

"I should warn purchasers...there was an improperly adjusted set that was shipped. I had to send mine in to have the microphones balanced. A process that took it out of my hands to about 10 days. In the end, the results were good."

I dont know. It was ordered only a couple days ago and I received it today. I would think that all the defected ones would be gone by now. I also ordered it straight from callpod themselves. It shipped from a different location though. I guess its worth it to call them.

Mine is the first review over on newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875995023&Tpk=callpod%2bdragon), entitled "One Fatal Flaw". After I wrote that review, I called Callpod to see if there was anything they could do, and right away the person on the phone told me they got a bad first batch, gave me a DHL number, and told me if I would box it and send it, on their nickel, they would fix it and return it. I did so, and am waiting to see if they really did fix it.

Oh yeah, and I paid roughly $105 for mine, before the bottom fell out on the prices. Yeah, that made me happy too. But frankly I won't care, as long as they fix it. We'll see.

Ok I have a second Callpod and it works alot better. People hear me much better though. Although not the best outgoing voice quality, its good enough to be able to use on a consistent basis now.
