Retention Success!

I just called *2 and asked for the retention area just to try to see if I could *possibly* get the centro for 99. I complained a little about how every time our phones are switched within the family or within friends, our data and text plans get f-ed up and we have to call customer service and straighten out or bill every time we do it...so she just did it for me with over night shipping!!
It was so easy. I was expecting a no!

for some reason, sprint seems to relax that 2 yr contract recently. I called in last week for some reason (forgot what it is) got two of my AAP changed to free and added a 3rd for free as well as getting all my vision for free without signing a two year contract

No contract extensions on plan changes or addon features.

Usually phone upgrades with discounts will require a new 2 year.

I'd still be a little leery on that one, what with getting the phone at a discount like that. I'd have them email you just so you have it in writing that your contract was not extended, have them also put in there what your contract end date is as well.

Other than that, it is nice that we can now do plan changes without needed to up the contract!

I need to contact sprint and complain about my contract. For some reason my contract was extended on january 9th for no reason without my consent. I was on the phone with CS trying to take care of something, changed my plan a little and they extended it from the end of 08 to 2010.

Funny, I've been out of contract for years and only in the last year or so have been under contract. Sprint used to offer me a five percent discount for signing up.:D

Good old Sprint will look for any excuse to try and snag another two years, they're desperate for more customers.:headbang2
