Does anyone know how to turn java and cookies on in the 8500 DLX?

there is minimal if any java support on the dlx browser, and cookies should be on by default,

What do you need the java for?

the cookies should be on by default.

If you want to view pages better, point your browser to mini.opera.com and download opera mini. It's soooo much better than the web browser that comes with your phone

and what site are you trying to browse that tells you that. it may not be a site thats supported by the DLXs mobile browser

you cant log onto your sprint.com account from the DLX browser its to basic, look into opera mini @ mini.opera.com

you can access your account via the vision homepage. its called my account
