To no surprise if it seams too good to be true, it must be from sprint...
I was offered a 249.99 credit to return razr and buy a touch...Along with 100 MIr and 100 loyalty credit. Got the touch and I love it...But just got off the phone with sprint and surprise.."There is no record of that offer we are unable to grant your request". I luckily did get ecare to send me email confirmation of the order but they say I have to bring the email to a sprint store to prove it. This list of reasons I hate sprint grows by the day. Unfortunatly I love my new touch and I guess I will just jump through the hoops to get what was offered to me.

I noticed that we have order a HTC Touch and the return kit for Motorola V3m, so the account will be charged $250.00 for the HTC Touch. Here are the details:
We offered $100.00 credit from our end for the purchase of a new phone and we have already applied this credit. Mail-in rebate will take around a month to get processed, so I have also applied another credit of $100.00 in place of mail-in rebate. So, this handset will cost you $50.00.

They tried to tell me the same thing. I refused to take the time out of my day to go fix one if their mistakes.
I just forwarded the e-mail to the e-care reps and had them note the acct & credit the account.
..worked for me anyway.

Yeah I wouldn't go all the way to store to do that. I would just email eCare and forward that email to them as well. That should be more then enough proof to take care of it.

I think more or less you just have to ask (and be nice when you do so). It helps to be near the end of your contract or out of contract. It may also help to have been a customer for awhile.

yea i did that recently for my q9c, except they credited me 350 towards the phone for an a900m :-) was a very good day i hapilly paid the $100 difference

So let me get this straight...my contract ended in january and i havent renewed it. So since I haven't, I can use this to my advantage and just simply say, "hey, can i get some credit here?"

i didnt ask for credit i just e-mailed ecare and said im having issues with the a900m and would like to replace it are there any promos on the Q9c currently, and the above is the offer i got in return

Lets open up the closet shall we? So, I ended up getting the touch and loving it. my bill went to -1220.xx For some reason the posted two temp credits, one 500 dollars 7 days. one 400 30 days. Ok, time goes by and 500 dollars drops off. 30 days has yet to pass so the 400 is still their. I still show a credit of 1000.xx(No idea) Today end of plan day i check my account to see how much I owe(Not expecting to owe anything because the 30 day credit still shouldn't have expired) .................................................. ............please hold while sprint works weirdness..........................

So did they just add another temp credit for some unknown reason? I am going to wait until my bill actually shows up to see what is going on. I would definantly call about this one. As the Sprint Account Management team will see this as fraud, and possibly shut down your account. So its best to just get the correct credits on the account now.

So I did the honorable thing and called requesting more info:ohcrap::ohcrap::ohcrap:
First, my account has already been charge 5xx.xx for the touch that I'm using. And the only temporary credit is 399.99. The rep said he had no idea what was going on with it. He asked his supervisor to look at it. He said basically there are discounts coming from all over, and he doesn't want to mess with it. The supervisor came back on the phone to me and basically said shhhhhhhh..........
That's not sh.t, it's shhhhhhhhhh as in Don't ask questions. So, should I still pay my bill as it comes, or should I just wait out this storm...

That was the 249.99 credit from january 9th or so I believe. I really don't want to keep questioning this, but I have a hard time just letting it go. It bafuls(sp? how the heck do you spell that word) the mind. Basically all was normal before January. I had ecare credit me 150 because they screwed up my eligibility to upgrade, from there is all has went uphill.(That would be the opposite of saying it all went downhill correct?)
