My wife and I have been with Sprint for over 4 years. Recently, Sprint offered my wife a "free phone" and then charged us anyway (go figure). After many calls to CS, Sprint finally cleared our account and my wife got to keep her new phone with a $50 credit. During the last CS call to Sprint I got on the phone and said, "My Treo 600 is a little dated and having some problems. Being a loyal Sprint customer, what kind of deal can I get on a new Palm Centro with free unlimited text and data? And while on the phone here, could we discuss lowering our monthly bill down to around $50 instead of $100?" Her initial response was of course, "Well sir, I can give you a Palm Centro for the $99 online price, unlimited text and data for 15/month, waive your $5 N/W@7, and give you a 10% loyalty discount bringing your monthly bill to around $80." Since this wasn't what I wanted, I (nicely) asked if I could talk to her manager. A Senior Rep came on 5 minutes later and generously offered me: 2 free Palm Centros (one for me and one for my wife), free unlimited text and data and 1000 shared minutes for $50/month! AND...no bill until April 2008! I was VERY happy to say the least.
