I have been with sprint for over 2 years now I do believe, not sure of the exact amount of time but I just got out of a contract. Right now I pay $29.99 for the 200 Minutes a Month along with $15 for Internet, $7 for Protection and their others charges, so my bill is around $62. I seem to feel like this is way to much for 200 minutes and internet on the phone. Since I have been a customer for such a long time I was wondering what the chances are of being able to get some sort of perk as I see some others in the forums seem to have gotten. I mean, just a simple text to someone costs .20 for each one and the rate seems to keep on going up. I feel as though I can get the same type of service else where with other companies joining benefits. If I call and say that I am going to cancel do you think they might offer at least a small text messaging plan or push back my nights and weekends to like 7PM instead of 9PM? Being a customer for this long as got to count for something right?

The best thing to do is call and find out. After all, what's the worst they can do, say no?

I agree... I would call retentions and tell them that your contract is up and that they're thinking of switching due to the fact that you feel you can get the same service else where for less. As for the texting you need a text package with your plan. I know that last time I checked that had a 300 or unlimited plan, but if you call retentions you may be able to get to them to throw it in for free. That would be the best advice I can give you.
