Okay,
So I call up SPCS to see about getting the rebate status reset for my wifes line and mine as well.
I just bought her a used Razr 2 and when we activated it, it reset her rebate date.
I swapped phones 5 times in the last 3 weeks, so my rebate is always messed up.
Anyway,
after 3 hrs and 9 transfers, I ended up with a CS rep again!
I was so PO'd!
She had no idea how I got to her. I asked for retention.
I'M GLAD I DID!
I got all 3 lines on $30 SERO'S. Till I get my NEW Novetel USB Modem!
I also got a BNIB Razr 2 too.
Both phone & modem were given to me @ the online discounted price too! No mail in needed.
It was worth the 3 hrs @ 9 previous reps.

Sounds like you made out... it sucks to have to be on the phone with them for 3 hours, but it does usually pay off and they're willing to work with you on some really good deals!

I have to agree with being on the phone for so long. Same experience today. Nobody seemed to have any idea what to do for some reason. Maybe they were just down with Manning losing.

Congratulations! I tried today with no luck... here's my story...
I called at 7:30am this morning... 1st transfer because Clair did not understand when I said 'cancel'. 2nd transfer, the guy said I am in the new billing and he couldn't pull up my account. 3rd rep, I was asked "Why is your account in final status?" - I did not know what that meant until he explained... so my jaw dropped. Then he couldn't explain anymore so he said I have to call back in 4 hours.
4 hours later... system was down, call back in 4 hours.
6pm... 3 transfers... on hold for 1 hour and 45 mins... nothing. I just hung up.
I think I am done for a while... I was really looking forward to getting a new Q9c... but I guess i'll wait... maybe something better will come along. Sigh.

I called today to cancel due to 1/1/08 contract change and surcharge hike, they offered me 3 options:
1. cancel without etf
2. go month to month with a %10 discount off of my overall bill.
3. start another 2 years and get the $99 palm centro offer,$5 unlimited text,$10 vision,and 15% off of my total bill.
I went for #3
My bill should be around $50 a month after all of that, but I only have 250 anytime minutes. Any advise how to get SERO instead? That would be even better.

You could have gone to the SERO section but since you didn't... grr...

Apparently it is pretty hard to switch from a normal plan to SERO. Best way I have heard to get a SERO without losing your number is to port out to a prepaid and then port back in to a new SERO contract

there's a whole forum on this board talking about, but basically it's an extremely discounted plan that you're supposed to only get by a sprint employee referring you to sprint.

I see a lot of users on this site has it and I was wondering How i could get into it. I have been searching for a bit but have just been getting a run around. Can anyone help me further?
