I got it a few weeks back, but I dont LOVE it, it is just ok, I like my 9000 more, but I need BLuetooth. I was thinking of returning it and getting the new razor thing, HELP. I just hate spending 179 on the DLX and not loving it!!

Read the reviews on some other phones to help you make your decision. If you really don't love it, definitely exchange it!

Hey there.
Sorry to hear you do not enjoy the DLX, but let's face it... it's not for everyone. I'd be happy to help you find a phone that would suit your needs better. What features are you looking for? Put those in order of what is most important, and either pm me, or post them here. I'll be happy to investigate into the phones available and see if I can't make a few recommendations. The Razr2 is nice... but it's big, and a bit pricey ($279 with 2 year agreement).
You can also go to sprint.com, look at the phones available for your area, and narrow your choices with the features you like/ want. I just did, and had to widen my search because there was nothing with EVERYTHING that I would want if I was to get another phone right this minute.
Let me know if you'd like my help.

I did not love the DLX. I really liked the Muziq a heck of a lot more, as far as flippers go. Of course, since I don't need BT, I'm not giving up the 9K.

I think I'd die without bluetooth! :P

The reason I had to give up the Muziq was that I wasn't fond of the camera.
At this point I haven't found anything that is comparable to the 9K plus BT. Did you try to find an M1?

another problem I have is phone envy, I would rather spend more now than hate it in a few months case something cooler came out, that is why I love the 9000! But i am taking the DLX back today, no rush, I have a plug in head set I can use that doesnt give me a headache with my 9000 :)

Well, from what I've heard, the new line of phones are coming out... so maybe you should hold off on getting a new one until they are out. Just a thought, as you could spend more now... and STILL have phone envy when the new phones come out. That way, you could make sure you get the one you want.

I went and looked at some today, I like phones with buttons you can really feel being pressed, I like to do things wihout looking at the phone, the centro had great buttons!

I LOVE my Centro. I currently carry the 9K and the Centro.

what is your favorite part? The main reasons I dislike the DLX is that I can not get the covers for the ports open. I tried the new razr v9m ?? Cant feel the buttons, the little blackberry was too hard for me to see all the little icons, but I liked the centro at first feel.
What are some of the negatives in your opinion. If I get it I may just sell my Ipaq. How easy is it to sync with a PC calendar?

This is my first PDA, so Ilm stoll new to what it can do. I don't use the calender feature much & I've never tried to sync that, honestly. I love the size, the tactile response from the keyboard rocks. The screen is great! I am now spoiled by having a touchscreen. I can run my money management program on thr Centro, can't do that on my old flippers! And I love the way I can customize everything on the Centro.
I am just begining to take full advantage of the PDA thing by using the MicroSD card to carry files (and view them on the phone!) I could go on and on about the things I never knew I wanted my phone to do.

I dislike... sound from the speaker is not the Sanyo quality I love. I miss the LED notifications, although the Centro can be hacked with a program to make it notify. I don't care for the messaging set up. And occasionally it gets a bit laggy.

what about the messaging? I am a big texter, is it hard?

Texting is a piece of cake with my Centro! One of the best uses of the phone.
