Heres a kicker, mm9000 question

yea its an old phone, but man is it great

simple quick question, (hopefully)


when i restart the phone, either through manual power cycle using the power button, or a setting related reboot. my T9 turns off, and the camera flash turns off

is this normal?

if so.. thanks!

if not, how would i fix this lol?

Kind of weird to see you asking for advice lol. I don't use t9 but my camera keeps its settings no matter what. Im sure you have tried the usual trouble shooting techniques.

everything short of a full reset yea,

all settings stick except for T9 and Flash lol, its nothing but a minor annoyance i rarely restart i just noticed a few times it defaulted i was like *** lol

I've never been able to get the camera settings to stick on any of the MM9000's that I've owned (which has been 5 in my best estimate). T9 has always stuck,however.

yea the words and customizations stick, just for some reason when i restart it i have to re select t9 as my input method

I think you have the option to "retain" the previous mode, do you have that as on?

cant find such an option, im either blind or it doesnt exist. i know on the M1 you would set the default text input inside of options when your in the text messaging menus, the mm9000 has no such option that i can find

On the m1 you can set it from settings too, its under messaging i think, which might be under others. and whoa, your a supermod! congrats!

yea, the m1 is an evolution of the 9000 and im guessing thats one of the settings that got added in that evolution its missing from the 9000 :-(
