I found out that the Kajeet phone is using the Sprint network, how do I get it to actually be on the Sprint network since I already have an account?

Sprint won't activate a foreign ESN, so you'd have to clone one. That is illegal in the US and can't really be talked about here. Just google it.

It looks like they are cell phones for kids. I had never heard of Kajeet either and had to look it up.
I don't know if you'll be able to get it flashed over for use on Sprint. As has been stated, Sprint will not activate any phone that does not have Sprint branding on it.

you can pick up a Katana for $30-70 used. If your up for contract renewal you can get a Katana II for $50. Why go through the hassle of reflashing a phone and possibly getting busted?

Like I said, the phone already utilitizes the Sprint network where the other company, Kajeet buys time on Sprint. The person who sold it to me sold it under false pretense, saying it was already set up for the Sprint network DIRECTLY and I still need a phone.
Kajeet is a US network, not foreign, so it should be LEGAL to just change the Read Only Memory. Since it is FLASH ROM, it can be updated to do this. The phone has an ESN already. I have already been into Sprint, but without this update, they won't "turn it on".
I just need to flash the ROM so that it will work on Sprint, and then they can activate it.
So, where do I get the Katana Sprint version of the ROM so I can do this?
Sprint only activates Sprint branded phones who's ESN is already listed in their data base. You can not flash your phone from another network and have Sprint activate it because that ESN is not in their data base. It ain't gonna happen. Take your phone back and cancel that service then buy a real Sprint phone.

it is illegal because your looking to change a phones programming and possibly change a phones ESN both of which are illegal
face it, you got hustled whoever sold you the phone lied, it cannot be activated on sprints network.
if the ESN doesnt come from sprint, sprint wont take it, that phone has a kajeet esn which is not from sprint its from kajeet a company that leases time on sprints network, but it does not get ESNs from sprint nor store them with sprint (well they may get stored i dunno how a MVNO works) but the fact is, you cannot activate it on sprint even if you flashed the katana with a sprint rom sprint still will not take it.
