Can't send text messages all of a sudden...

Hi! Please help!

All of a sudden I cannot send text messages! I can recieve them just fine. I thought at first it might have been because my friend uses a different company, but then I tried to send one to dh, and got the same error...

Here's what it says,
"An error occurred (5) when sending this message. Please check the phone number or email address and try again."

I am using a Palm Treo. And text messaging worked just fine last night.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Oh...but I can still recieve text messages...and the phone numbers are correct.

I had an issue too yesterday. I rebooted the phone, and all was fine again.

Have you tried calling sprint CS to see if anything has changed? I had that happen before then called them they did something to fix it.

that was gonna be my next step...it's always a headache calling them...thought someone here might have an idea...anyway...suppose i ought to just give 'em a call.

well, i called...gonna have to call again...i had to call from my cell phone, since i don't have another one to use at the moment.

anyway, he reset something, then gave me some instructions to follow. i did it. he had instructed me to then send myself a text message. so i did that...

now...i can send them...but i can't receive them...UGH!

Ugh!! So I am waiting waiting on hold now. I called...waited for probably 15 minutes, then accidentally hung up...so now i'm waiting all over again. When I called the first time I didn't even have to wait...then 10-20 minutes later I have a huge long wait...
I have now been on hold for a total of 40 minutes (25 minutes the second time) *sigh*

I know what you mean I go through that whenever I call with a problem.
