My parents came over the other day and my mom was sporting something that looked like it came VH1's 'We Love the 90's.'
She was admiring my Touch and wife's Upstage and wondered how she could get something new. Told her I'd see what I could do. They currently have 300 min for $50 a month and contract expired like a year ago. All our family is Sprint, so minutes aren't really an issue. I was looking to see what family plans I could get with 300 to 500 minutes and I'll try to negotiate a couple new phones.

Most of what I'm seeing on here are around 1000+ minutes, so that is why I'm asking.

Thanks

Two SERO 500 plans would cost $60 - each plan is $30 (no shared minutes in SERO) but it includes unlimited internet, texting, N&W @ 7:00PM, American's roaming.

It would be easier to obtain SERO if they are willing to get new phone numbers. It is possible to keep your numbers but it takes persistence and work, If you are interested in getting SERO read the SERO forum - Liglyrichbich has good tips for how to do it. :thought:

I think there is a family share plan that retentions may be giving that is $50 for 1000 minutes. I don't know what is included but if they want texting or internet it may be better to go to the SERO plans.

It really depends on what you need in a plan - SERO is great in some instances but a family plan works better in other instances.

I would not necessarily get your mom into upstage - my teenage son has one and loves it - drove me crazy when I played with it - functionality was there but it was not efficient. :haha: It would be okay some of the time but not all of the time.

Good Luck.

Forgot - the lowest minute individual plan Sprint currently has is 200 AT minutes only but it costs $29.99. SERO 500 is 500 minutes for $30 plus it includes all the other goodies.

If your parents want Power Vision phones, I'd suggest that they just get SERO. They can port their old numbers to the new line if they wish since they're out of contract (and won't incur any ETF's. They would just have to purchase SERO first, port out to prepaid, then port back into Sprint. If they don't care about their current #'s, just cancel and get SERO.

Also, as stated above the lowest plan is $29.99 for something like 200 minutes...but to the replier, the OP was asking about Sprint's retention deals, not their base new customer plan prices.
