OOC family plan, looking for advise.

Hello all,

I've been a sprint customer since 2000 but as an add-a-phone on a family plan. I'm currently OOC and need to begin a plan of my own. I would like to stay with Sprint and keep my current phone number.

Am I considered a loyal customer of Sprint although I'm not the main account holder?

Would I be a good candidate for a Retention plan with Sprint?

How would I go about getting the the plan I want at a reasonable price?

I'm looking for something around the neighborhood of:

~500 anytime
~500 text
vision
no more than $50/month

A new customer plan can't seem to get me close to this even with my 14% corporate discount.

Suggestions please.

SERO dude search for it and its cheaper

I have heard of SERO. But i'd really like to keep my phone number. And it sounds like a pain to get SERO and keep my current number.

if u arent the mainline or if ur name isnt the account hilder then it will be harder to get a good retention plan as u are technically a new account holder. the best way to do it is to look at the sero page. since u are too lazy, here is a brief run down: port ur number to a prepaid and cancel ur line. port back to sero as a new customer.

isnt there a certain period of time you have to wait in order to switch back to sprint??

I have thought of temporarily porting to a pretty cheap ATT/Cingular GoPhone and switching back asap. Anyone confirm if this could work?
