iknow i can use my modul to create a dial up connection

i was wondering can any regular phone say a katana/razr if hooked up to your laptop allows you to run a dial up connection using #777

If you want to use your phone as a modem, there are certain models of phones that will do that. Motorola KRZR and RAZR phones do have phone as modem capability. So do Katana phones.

You need to have a 'phone as modem' plan added onto your account though.
