:1zhelp: I was wondering if anyone else is getting spam on thier picture mail accounts. I keep getting notices saying I have picture mail and when I go online to retrieve them it is always spam about some drug or some other crud that I have no interest in and it was a waste of my time to retrieve it, since it doesn't tell you who it is from until you go to your picture mail account. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem some times I will get 3-5 of these a day other days I won' t get any so there is no set pattern but it is driving me crazy getting spam from people I don't know and don't even know how the heck they got my picture mail address cause I don't use picture mail that often.:mad:

Wow, I have never gotten anything like this. How annoying! :(

If they seem to be coming from the same number, you can block those numbers. You can block numbers yourself at sprint.com or call customer care or tech support and we can set it up for you.

The only other way to avoid them would be to change your number but that would probably be way too inconvenient and possibly only a temporary fix.

I began receiving picture mail spam last night. Since then, I've been getting 2-3 messages every hour, which pretty much rendered my mailbox useless. Not only that, I have to pay for those because I don't have SMS included in my plan.

I called Sprint Customer Care and they said there's nothing they can do (short of changing my number, which is quite inconvenient). Apparently, every message comes from a randomly generated email address, so there isn't one single address to block.

If anyone has a solution to this problem, I would sure like to hear it.

I've had this problem for a few months now and it just got worse. According to my Pic mail inbox online, I'm getting about 500 of these spam mails a moth. The good news is, they believe they have found a solution.

You need to call and speak with the Picture Mail Tech support. They will fill out a ticket and call you back.

If they don't know what you're talking about, refer to your "alias" email address needing to be changed. This seems to be fixing the problem.

Good luck!

They are WRONG>>> I was getting about 100 a day, called CS three times before they got it fixed. Now I don't get any. Call CS again and fill out a trouble ticket.
