I was wondering if I was being charged WiFi access when my e-mail checks itself in the Messaging center? I have an HTC Mogul and it pops up as saying dialing #777. Is this just a normal connection or is it WiFi? I hope this made some sort of sense.

That's the phone connecting to the power vision network. It's normal. You did get a data package, did you not?

Also, I don't think that you'll ever be charged for 'WiFi' access, unless your using somebody's hotspot that you need to pay for.

ill assume from your statement you bought a pda without a power vision plan.so....

the phone will try to connect to its own data whenever it can the only way to prevent it is to sabatoge the data access or call sprint tech support and demand they disable data on your phone (i say demand because asking doesnt seem to work with this type of request because it makes sprint $$ when you dont have a data plan)
