I called Sprint today with the intention of canceling my service. My Moto Q is garbage. My wife's a920 was acting a fool. Alltel has REALLY strong service in Oklahoma, and I was tempted to jump ship. SO, I called sprint to cancel at the end of my cycle. My contract was not to run out until June. I told them that I was upset about the new terms and conditions which basically makes it so they can change the fee structure when ever they want...but some sweet new phones would offset that, and I'd stick around.
I got two new Centros @ $99 each (no rebates, just $99 straight up), put on my next bill. Also, $7.50 unlimited data per line and $59 for 1000 minutes. I'm very happy with this :headbang2
I also get a 20% discount from my employer, so I'm very happy with this.

I'm dying to get my new phones! one question. At my house I get perfect alltel coverage, and practically no sprint. When I force my phone to roam, I get 4-5 bars...because I'm roaming on Alltel. Will Sprint say anything if I use a lot of minutes in roam?

well depends on your plan.

if you have unlimited roaming, you can use all the roaming you want. otherwise, roaming is going to cost a lot.. so get the unlimited

Think again man! I negotiated a new Centro for my friend, and we got the same deal. $99.00 (Wwhich if you look @ the website, is the same price with all the discounts and rebates to be given). His bill is out. $360.00! What discounts are on the bill for my friend? Phone upgrade Credit: $150.00! LMAO! So, I had to call into ES, and get it straightened out. Got him the other $150.00 off the price of the phone $399.99. So that makes the phone $99.99
Which he will return the Centro, because he has really fat fingers, so typing on the phone, is no use to him. We'll try to get him the Q9c, if the return kit ever comes to his house.

Crazy! I did this deal last night, I guess right before the shipping cut off. THEY ARRIVED TODAY! That's fast. I've been playing with it and enjoying it...just trying to figure out a few things like how to get MP3 ringtones, etc.

So far, I like it!
