How the heck do you access your Sprint e-mail?!!!! I've been a Sprint customer for 9 years so I'm not a newbie. From what I can tell, there's no way to access a Sprint e-mail account from a desktop anymore. I have 2 phones.... one is a Treo 700p and the other is an HTC Mogul. I can access one of my Sprint e-mail accounts on my Treo 700p, but it really doesn't matter since I've never used that e-mail account before. On my Mogul, there's no way to access that e-mail account at all which just happens to be the account that I've used for the past 9 years under that phone number.

I get text message alerts sent to my phone to alert me of a new e-mails, but like I've already stated, I have no way of viewing them which isn't really the main issue since I use that account for minor e-mails. The main problem is, I have no way to delete those e-mails! The last time I was able to gain access to that one e-mail account, there were over 2,500 junk e-mails in it. After your account gets so many messages in the inbox, you won't be able to recieve new messages until some of those messages are deleted.

Sooooo ummm, yeah..... what can I do?

Well you have to access it via your online account manager @ www.sprint.com

'PCS Mail' linky.

I know, but I haven't been able to find a link on my account manager to direct me to e-mail for the past 2 months. Are my eyes really that bad that I continuously overlook it?!!! Lol!

I'm gonna go look AGAIN.

You can access your sprintpcs.com email account by setting up a POP3 account in whatever email program you use like Outlook.

The incoming mail server is: pop.sprintpcs.com

The out mail server is: smtp.sprintpcs.com

You username is whatever <username>@sprintpcs.com

Makes sure the outgoing server requires authentication is checked.

Works fine with my Moto Q9C. Haven't had a problem receiving or sending.

That doesn't really help me though. I have my Yahoo account set up like that and I know you can't remotely delete messages from your inbox which happens to be my biggest concern.

You must be doing it wrong, because it works like any pop3 accounts for me. Anything message I pull from the pop3 server gets deleted off the server.

I don't think you're following me. I need to access my Sprint e-mail inbox so I can delete 2,500 + messages.

It's under My Online Tools

Thanks. I'm gonna go ahead and assume that my account must somehow be screwed up because everytime I go to "My Online Tools", there's never anything there.

I dunno. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y180/carlos64030/smilies/confused.gif

I have a Moto q9c; I can get two seperate gmail accounts working correctly in messaging. However, my sprint pcs email account will not work. I have tried numerous times. I'm just going to have to call sprint to see if they can resolve the issue. I can't figute out what's causing the problem.

I have somewhat the opposite problem. I can get into my Sprint email just fine through the account manager link. I just have absolutely no idea what the email address even is, since I've never used it. Don't really plan to either. But if I wanted to tell someone to email me there, I'd be out of luck. :indiff:

cheezit...if you can get to your email account online.....send a message from there to a known email address and there you have the email address....

:thought: Now why in the world didn't I remember that?

Oh well, I guess it doesn't pay for me to be dumb unless I can show it. And I certainly did. Hoorah.

Thanks for jarring my memory.

the email process for phone accounts always seems to mess up
