Does sprint expect any major delays? Last year I send around 60, and no one received any. :icon_smil --> It was quite annoying.

Interesting. I just finally started texting this year so I didn't experience it last year.

Happy new year!

I got a text at 8:15 this morning from my brother wishing me a happy new year. I guess he was trying to beat the rush.

had some issues with voice calls at 5 past midnight, so one would guess texting would be somewhat delayed also. all in all though its a small issue!

I posted in the SMS forum about this. :)

Since last night there have been major delays in sending/receiving text messages, picture mail, etc. The average time right now is 30-60 minutes. Most of the MAJOR delays are happening in California, Texas and New York but delays are being reported EVERYWHERE.

It's lag on the network and there is nothing we can do in tech support to speed up the process. Just be patient and eventually it will get back to processing messages and picture mail at normal speeds.

It seems that some areas are not being effected. I'm in Colorado and mine are going through just fine.
