Why do you want a midi ringtone if you have a Palm 700p? I have the song and could send it to your phone if you like. What section of the song do you want (what 30 second section)?

ok. Just an FYI...IF you had a data plan, and if you have a Palm i would assume you have some sort of data plan, you could have saved money and just edited, converted, and sent your ringer to your phone using mobilereelz dot com. I just did this myself and it works flawlessly.

What type of file does it create? I don't know what type of file the 700P can use.

select m4a. You can use QCP but m4a is a better quality even though it's a little bigger.
