Ive tried three times so far to get a discount on a Windows Mobile phone. Twice with reps on the phone (dont think it was with retentions), and once with eCare. I explained how I paid 400 for a Mogul upgrade from a third party and got ripped off causing me to send back the phone. Sprint will not budge at all, telling me I am only approved for a $75 discount since I am only 17 months into my contract. Think I will get a better offer? Any suggestions on my strategy? The only reason I am interested in a Windows Mobile phone, and why I got the mogul in the first place, is because I recieved a unpaid internship in a IT dept and PUSH email is crucial. Remote Desktop from a phone is useful also.

17mos? Try retentions - I think you can probably get them to bump you to $150 credit and get you a cheap centro, etc
edit: or for WM try the q9c, etc

I agree; talk to retentions and see what they can do for you. After 17 months they should be able to work with you. Kill em with kindness!

Tried with eCare last night again, if it didnt work I was gonna call retentions. Had to show I was a little upset but was still kind. told them i was frustrated with sprint support, i am a existing paying customer but it seems sprint only aim to please new customer, i send back one of your latest and top phones and all the reps say they can only give me a 75 dollar discount since i am only 17mos into my contract, this makes not want to renew my contract with sprint when its time, is it anything ecare can do from kindness. thats not exactly what i said but the sum of it. this got me the motorola q9c for $449 - $300 credit = $150 webprice.

Go in to a store. I just upgraded from 700wx after 17mo to a mogul. THe CS that helped me called Sprint, explained I've been with them for over 5yrs and what can they do for me on the phone - I got it for $399 and then I emailed ecare and received another $100 credit that is available online. My deal may not be near as good as some i've read one here but $299 for a mogul isn't bad.
