I am using a ppc 6700, and evertime I send a text message this is what the person receives a bunch of "at" signs in between each and every character like this...
i@m@@A@t@@w@o@R@k
what I typed and sent was...
I'm at work...
Please help me solve this problem...Any suggestions are welcome.

are you using any threaded text hacks? or any 3rd party on screen keyboards? because it sounds like somewhere in translation your character input is getting slured

No, I'm not using any SMS programs besides Tmail that comes w/ WM5

Tmail? never heard of it, you mean messaging? thats whats included with wm5
do me a favor, list every program you have installed, (as listed in stettings > remove programs)

the only app i see that may be causing the problem is Group SMS, otherwise you may need to hard reset as there may be a backend conflict (such as registry or system files) that is not easially pinpointed

Thanks just Hard reset the phone. I'll try tonight and let you know tomorrow if it works.

ok, I hard reset my phone and its still sending the 'at' signs. I didn't install any programs back on my phone so its not a program. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its a bum device, take it to a sprint store and have them take a look @ it (no pun intended) and if they cant fix it and you have tep or esrp you should be able to get a replacement on the spot

Yep, that sounds like an issue with the device. You need a replacement. You can take it to a Sprint store or call customer care and they can arrange for a replacement.
