What format do the files need to be? What program would I need on the phone to play them or is it capable on it's own as long as I move it to the memory card?

Capable on its own... You'll wanna use your typical 3GP format.

And I also have streams for regular mobile phones :) free.laursifer.com

Sweet... Can you please explain to the 'tard:

What does typical 3GP format mean? Would the vids I use from your site on my Centro work on this or no? (movies, etc)

We have an FAQ that walks you through it with one of the programs out there:
http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61517

3GP is basically a mobile format based off of the MPEG-4 container, so the movies from my Centro site might work but they're encoded at a higher resolution than the A920 takes... but it still might scale it down to the right size, I'm not sure. You could convert the Centro ones to 3GP though (you'll want to use the QCIF resolution for the A920--176x144), which would benefit you by resulting in a much smaller filesize. In addition to the 3GP converter linked in that FAQ (assuming the link still works, I haven't checked), there are a lot of other alternatives. The most popular being Super Converter (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html), which is free. QuickTime Pro can also convert to 3GP, but it's not free.

boo..the only one that looks Mac compatible is Quicktime...

I just got Toast 8, and if I can clear off more space on my hard drive I can probably use that I suppose....
