If you didn't contest it at that time, there really isn't much you can do about it now. Paypal gives you a chance to tell your side when someone files a claim against you. If you don't respond, or they find in favor of the person filing the claim, then there really isn't much you can do at that point. How long ago did this happen to you, and why are you waiting until now to try and get it cleared up?? If there was a complained filed against you, you should have contested it right away.

if they got the money back and didn't return the item that buyer may be guilty of fraud, its true that the PP dispute process is weighted to the buyer but they still cant keep the item and the $$$ if you get nowhere with PP contact your local PD and see if they have a internet fraud division, a call or letter from the law might get your phone back. and there is no reason you cant keep using your PP account after this you just lost the $$$ (which does stink) hope it works out, ive been on the buyer end of this and it is weighted to the buyer.
afterthought, maybe you can report the ESN stolen, if they have both the $$ and the phone i would say it has been(stolen)) . if your gonna lose it at least make it worthless to them.

Well the minute there's a problem, paypal will freeze that amount of money (not yet returning it to the customer until the dispute is settled). YOu should have a tracking number...you just need to submit it to Paypal and they can see that you not only shipped the item, but it was delivered. If you didn't use tracking or delivery confirmation then there's nothing you can do to get your money back.

The blue slider is an LG PM-325.
