school e-mail and sprint mobile e-mail?

i hope this is in the right forum, and i couldn't find an answer elsewhere. so here goes...is there any way to make my school e-mail address work with sprint mobile e-mail? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What exactly are you trying to do?? I don't quite understand. Are you trying to forward one to the other?

i'd like to be able to access that account the same way i would access my yahoo or gmail account. the thing is, i don't know what settings to use or if it can be done.

I'm assuming you are using the Centro? You'd have to know the incoming and outgoing addresses.

You just gotta contact them to have the settings for POP mail.

Well I'd assume you have to because they'd have their own incoming and outgoing servers.

For my work which is a school district I have all my mail forwarded to my sprint account. It works great because I get all my messages in 2 places at once. You can still reply but you can't send new messages out unless you have the email address of the ones you need at that time. For me it has saved me hours of work when I'm gone from work at meetings and times when we had power outages for 8+ hrs.

Is your school email account a re-branded hotmail account? If so search for my thread in the blackberry forum (here on su) where I posted the settings. If it's not then my suggestion would be to add the account to outlook (2007) and have it find the settings for you. Then look in the email accounts for the settings and copy them to your phone.

just get the settings from your school. much easier.

psmith16: you should do the same thing too and just access your email from your phone instead of having duplicate emails. much easier ;)
