i was wondering is there a way to delete or omit the missed message beep & also if i load songs on my storage card is there a way i can use them as my ringer?

No way to avoid the beep. Common complaint with the krzr.

what about putting my own songs as a ringer i took the internet & text messenging off...

I never did it, but I know you can. It can't be longer than 30 sec clip. I'm not sure the process, but I know it is possible. Did you check out the motorola forum and see if it was posted there?

If you want to make your own ringers, you unfortunately chose the wrong phone. :( You have to jump through hoops to make it happen, and eventually, my computer quit recognizing that my phone existed, even though it would charge, so not even Moto Phone Tools would work. It was miserable.
