View Full Version : Katana Dlx locks up when i hit email button

When i hit menu button, and then go down to messaging, and then hit the email button, my phone locks up. the only way to get it to come back on is to take the battery off. I searched for this problem first in this forum, and no results. I have the 1.008SP software on the phone. Any ideas??

reset your email then try it again should clear it.

My DLX still has freezing problems and power cycling problems where the phone shuts off while using the email application and powers back on by itself.
i have tried the reset and it works for a while then the problems come back.i have resigned myself to the fact that that is the way it is and will always be:)

Have you updated your firmware? Sometimes that would help you fix that problem also, some of the applications you have on your phone can cause a conflict. I had two google email apps on my phone and it reset because it was trying to open both at the same time. Just an idea not sure if that will clear your issue up. I've had this phone since july when it came out and havn't had too much trouble out of it besides it taking forever to get the firmware updates to show.

I cant get my phone to do the OTA firmware update, any tricks to do that.. I am only at 1.0002sp

I had to keep repeating the update phone option before I got mine to work. It took about 7 or 8 tries back to back.
