The Battery on the Q9C wont charge through the USB???? That sucks... :(

Yeah, I got that message the other night too. However, I did notice that it actually was getting a charge later in the same night. Not sure what to make of it.

I charge mostly by wall anyway.

And can I add that the battery life on the Q9 is freakin' awesome. I do realize it is an extended batt but going 2-3 days between charges is great.

i havent ran into the problem with charging off the USB yet...about the battery...i must agree it just keeps going and going.

I had actually bought the Motorola extended battery for the original Q... Sadly, it is actually a lesser battery than what comes standard with the Q9c! They should've given those away for free to original Q victims!!

I love the battery life on my Q9c... I'm in a mobile signal blackhole at work and having 1 to no bars all day long puts a drain on most batteries... My Q9c still has 3 bars by the end of the day!

Think I found a fix for this. Go to Settings, Connections, USB to PC and disable that advanced setting. After doing that I can now charge off a usb port.

it will if the port puts out enough amperage be sure to use either a powered usb hub or an on board usb port, avoid front usb ports or non-powered usb hubs.

yea it will even charge if that message comes up, just alot slower, im looking into a way to disable that msg all together, i mostly charge mine by wall as well
