Okay, I know at one time I saw threads talking about these things and I can't seem to find them. Maybe I'm not looking for the right word combinations or the right area. Nevertheless, I am asking and I appreciate any help.
Just got my new 9c. I was wondering if any of the homescreens from the old Q will work with the new. Also programs such as facade or fizz since the main homescreen I really want requires both of those plugins.
Are the registry hacks the same as well and can we use the same program for that.
I guess basically, can we set it up using any of the old stuff or is it all new.
Thanks everyone.

most old stuff should carry over with no issue, with an exception of registry hacks, the apps should work no problem i would say 95%+ of the things you used with the Q will carry over to the Q9C with zero issues including home screens because its still virtually the same os, i just got my Q9C and i work until tuesday in which ill take the day to sort through the registry and see what can be done what cant be done and how to do it, so keep an eye out ill be posting my findings

Thank you sir.
I did go ahead and start moving stuff over and everything did go without fail. Got my Homescreen set back up with the proper plugins so it's like I never even changed phones. Next thing will be to find the GPS app that works best.
Thanks again.

Windows live search works rather well, it even has turn by turn nav, and best of all its free, if you find a decent gps app let me know i couldnt get tom tom to work and nav4all was too clunky for my liking

Just downloaded Google Maps. Seemed okay. I'll have to get out and about to give it a good trial run. I'll let you know what I find out.
