Has anyone noticed any issues around bluetooth pairing and use with the Q9c. I have been experiencing the following issues with my two bluetooth devices:

Speakerphone: Motorola HF820 (BT v1.1)
I am able to pair the device with the speaker phone and can initiate calls through voicedialing and manual, however once initiate they automaticaly go to a connected screen, but I cannot hear or speak to anyone.

Headset: Sony HBH-610a (BT v2.0)
I am unable to locate the headset when attempting to pair the device.

Any suggestions?

I haven't noticed any problems like that...I have a Jabra BT250 I use on occasion, and I have a Parrot CK3000 Evolution hands-free kit in my car, no problems using that either.

Have you deleted both of your headsets from your phone's paired devices list and re-added them? Maybe that will clear something up. Worth a shot; I love the Q9c :)

I like my Q9c quite a bit but I'm struggling with some bluetooth issues. My biggest problem is with my Parrot CK3100 car kit. I have tried two different brand new units with exactly the same results. Starting with a fresh phone (or after a master reset) I can successfuly pair and have full functionality for approx half a day. Then I consistently have significant issues. Two primary issues are missing bluetooth audio. The phone acts as if it is paired however the audio does not come through. If I switch heaset audio off I get audio through the handset but then if I switch back to bluetooth audio the audio will not come through. The other issue is that every time the phone repairs with the car kit the car kit thinks that a call is started. Upon pairing the car kit starts the call timer and mutes the audio as if it is in a call. With this problem the issue is sometimes resolved if I place an actual call and then hang up. I bought a Motorola T605 bluetooth unit which has been working successfully for days but the Motorola kit does not have a display for caller id and dialing information. I'd like to use the Parrot kit because of the phonebook and display capabilities but I believe those extra data features are probably contributing to the problems. I talked to Parrot technical support and they say they have been successful with their internal testing with the Q9c but the problems I've been having are remeniscent of the Mogul with its original firmware. I'd love to find a solution...

yea it sounds like that units features are not supported by the Q9C i would contact parrot or motorola or both to confirm

I have the Plantronics 510. I have had the following bluetooth issues with 2 Q9s. Phone sometimes will be paired but the sound would be coming through the phone instead of headset. I had one instance where I wanted to hang up on customer service but couldn't do it with the headset or the end call button on the phone. The sound was coming through the handset but it was still connected to the bluetooth heaset. I had to power the phone off to end the call. Phone sometimes will not make a call when the headset is on, will just say "dialing" and I would have to turn off the bluetooth headset before it would call out. Static. When placing calls to automated systems using the headset the phone would communicate somehow with it on it's own making it almost impossible to speak commands instead of punching it in on the keypad. I am waiting on a return kit. I have already reactivated my old Q whose bluetooth is flawless.

Are these issues resolved? My Q9c has problems with disconnecting with bluetooth on my Garmin nav system and people have reported problems with the Parrot CK3100.

I wanted to get a Parrot CK3000, but if the Q9c doesn't work with the CK3100 it probably doesn't work with the CK3000.

I'm starting to think the problem is on the Motorola side because there are so many complaints about bluetooth connections with the q9c with more than just one brand of bluetooth kit. It does work fine with my Blueant Supertooth Light though.

Same happens with my plain old Q and my Mercedes bluetooth kit. Drives my wife nuts. If I shut off the phone and turn it back ok it work OK for a while. Might work ok for a week or so and then fail twice in a day. I can't figure it out.

My wife and her 08 Mini Cooper S (Q9c) are having the same issue. Please let me know if you find a solution.

just a suggestion to all in case it helps anyone of you.when you get to the screen where it says 1 handsfree,2 personal network , etc.. pick hands free no matter what type of device you have and then click on "menu" and select "add".while it is searching click "menu" again and click "show all devices".it will then search for all type of devices.i had to do this to find my bluetooth stereo speakers.

My wife had this problem, and I went to another site [everythingQ ?] searching for answers. I think it was that site that had a registry hack that would make it work with their cars. They were having problems with the Lexus Navigation system. Here's the thread: http://www.everythingq.com/forum/moto-q-9c/q9c-and-infiniti-g35x-bluetooth-problem-16833.html (http://http://www.everythingq.com/forum/moto-q-9c/q9c-and-infiniti-g35x-bluetooth-problem-16833.html)

It turns out Parrot made the bluetooth. My wife's car has a parrot adaptor for the Kenwood system. It would automatically connect into Privacy mode and dial something.

After the hack it doesn't do that. It sometimes has to be manually connected from the phone upon entering the car, but it hasn't done the funky auto-dial thing EVER again.
