View Full Version : Exploding head - help with Sero

My head feels like it's going to explode...I've spent hours reading the forums and I think I overloaded myself.

I won't repeat my recent hassles (see my one other post), but I've just renewed my contract (after being month to month for years) and now I see I should have asked for SERO instead of falling prey to having my account "upgraded" to a higher priced due to my ignorance.

I have a simple question. I see reference to a post by LiglyRichBich which outlines the process to use for getting sero on an exisiting number. Is there such a single post or is it the collection of posts I find when I search on her name?

I'm normally very self sufficient, but would love a pointer to the most straightforward post showing the best way to convert my long time phone number (9 years?) to a SERO account.

Thank you in advance. :Popcorn2:

If you just resigned your contract you are out of luck. However you may be able to use the changes to the TERMS of the contract to cancel your contract or as a bargaining chip to get a SERO plan.

Worst case you can get out of the ETF in January, port to another carrier, then within your trial period port back to Sprint under the SERO plan maybe? This would reset your timer with them though, in such as they will not see you as a 9 year customer but as a new customer.

There is no best way to convert your existing line to SERO. Even if you follow the directions to the letter, it's not that easy.

Under Sprint's Right Plan promise, you do have 6 months to change your plan without any additional contract renewals. See what you can do about getting switched under that feature. If they say no, then you could try asking for some discounts or perks that would give you a plan similar to SERO. Getting perks will probably prove to be much easier than trying to convert your existing line to SERO (if you are rejected initially).

Yeah i see rough times ahead if you try to change your current just renewed plan to a SERO. Im not saying it isnt possible but it will be hard. I would just bring up how long you have been with Sprint and see how receptive the person is over the phone and go from there.
