I am getting my new Q9c today and will be upgrading from a Samsung A920. I was wondering what the best way to get my contacts from my A920 onto the Q9c since I will have to return the A920 to sprint to get a discount towards the Q9c. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think you can go to a Sprint store and have them transfer your contacts. Or you could try to bluetooth them over.

I first bluetooth mine to my computer... updated them in address book, then bluetooth them back over to my q9c.

Can you elaborate on this? What softwares did you use? I'll be connecting via USB.

Update for any future references. You can check the Samsung section on how to export your contacts to Outlook. Then you can transfer the contacts from Outlook to the Q.

i found the best and easiest and the least time consuming is bluetoothing them straight from your phone to the Q. i had the same phone the a920 and bluetooth took me 5 minutes to transfer over 30 contacts, better to do that then go to sprint store drive there, waste money on gas, stand in line and wait for your turn. again just my 2 cents :)

How did you get the 920 to sync with the q via bluetooth? I tried that and it said it couldn't connect.

first you pair the q on the a920 ... you should know how to do that if you dont let me know ... after that you go to your contacts ... dont go to the point where you see all the info but where you see the name ... click on the right soft key which is for options and then in options click on #3 or send contact and the pick the Q's trusted device name and click on select and it will send it and after that click on down part of the middle button where the OKAY/MENU button is and it will go to the next contact and repeat and repeat ... if you got questions just let me know
