I have been on the SERO plan (500 min, N&W@9, unlimited M2M, unlimited data (powervision i think b/c my current phone says it on the homepage) since April 2006 with my Samsung A920. Recently I contacted Sprint CS e-care about getting a new phone b/c i told them my a920 was having "age issues" and was malfunctioning quite often. The rep told me she could give me the $150 for renewing my contract even though i was about 4 mos. away from the full 24 mo. Then she said she could also give me $180 for my current phone. So I got a total of $330 in discounts towards a new phone and decided to get the Q9c. I am wondering if when I get the new phone (3-5 days) if when I have to renew my contract they will try to change my plan on me and force me into features I dont want. I pretty much want to keep my plan as it is and just get everything transferred to the Q. Should I be prepared to fight off them adding things to my plan or them changing my SERO on me? Any help/guidance on this situation would greatly be appreciated.

No, not at all. Your plan will stay the same. Its just a transfer of devices. And keep your old phone just in case something devastating happens to your new Moto.

If you received discounts for the phone, the rep more than likely renewed your contract right there.
The only thing I would change is the nights. SERO is standard with 7pm nights now as well as unlimited texting.
