Hi, so i needed a new phone 'cause my chicken nugget (PM-325 slider) had a battery life of 20 minutes. 22 months of good abusive service.
I wanted: (in order of wanting-ness) Music player, anything but a flip-phone, speakerphone and video.
Straight out of the box it was great. took me two days to run out of fun learning how to use it and setting up new ringers and stuff.
Dislikes:
Quiet ringers (if you edit them yourself, make them too loud, it will sound fine on the phone)
Soft Vibrate (i'm used to a whirrr sound)
Web Browser (It kept running out of memry on simple pages, I DL'ed Opera)
Media Player Files (ok, for the first few days i realized that it douesn't like file structures, so i had to format and re-upload everything on to my card, works fine now, but beware.)
Media Player Level (Quiet? almost, get a 2.5 headphone adapter to your fm transmitter and be happy)
Game Compatibility (Havent yet found a stockpile of free games that work for this phone; the turning screen is a reason)
Flat Back (when on it's back the speaker for phone and media gets muffled, almost to the point you'll miss a call. get a case or put bling on the battery to raise it up)
Likes:
Time During call (From the first time a made a call, i liked this. it shows call time and the current time)
MP3 (I know it's listed as part of the phone, but c'mon, it's cool)
Memory Card (see above)
Full KB (I text more now. and it has a full 22 button KB with numbers and symbols on a shift-fn button)
Speakerphone (LOUD, almost distorted loud sometimes, but to others it's hard to tell you're on the speakerphone sans wind)
HQ Camera (Better than most phones i've seen. slight delay, but this ain't professional. get an SLR if you're going to complain about it)
Video (Best for last! I found a free 3g video editor and put TV episodes and movies on my memory card. works great, use the media card manager.
Overall 8/10 :headbang2
I break flip-phones, sliders and flat PDA style phones a rugged enough for me to be borderline abusive. The screen is large and the full keyboard is great for typing e-mails and not just txtmsgs. Lightweight compard to other full-kb phones and watching video makes me happy.
