I upgraded from the Q to the Q9c last week. I have an old grandfathered vision package and with the Q I was able to access the internet at powervision speeds. With the q9c I constantly connect at slower speeds "1X" and im unable to surf at the powervision speeds. I'm wondering if this has something to do with the PRL. Anyone else experiencing this and what PRL is you Q9C using? Thanks.

Well I don't have a moto but I just went through the exact same thing today when switching from the 8130 back to my 6800. I had to have my phone reprogrammed and all is well again.

Same situation I was... Grandfathered plan, only getting 1x. I had to call CS so they can repgram my phone to work on powervision. They tried upgrading me to a power vision plan and I said no.

Correct; I had my PRL updated yesterday and now have 60611 also. The phone shipped with 60610.

My Q9c is still @ 60610. How does one do an update on that (to 60611)? Click on powervision update is what the search post says, but that's not working? Can anyone advise please?

*Called Sprint tech support. CSR said she sent PRL update to my phone. Still says 60610. Hmm. What else can I do?

First, call or email sprint to ask them to push a PRL update to your phone(s); all that does is flag your account for that update. (you already did this)

Second, you have to call *2 for the PRL to actually get updated (from every phone you need updated, I think).

Thanks se. The first tech support CSR I asked to do that obviously was um, err, new...So I called tech support again and talked to a more intelligent CSR who did it correctly and when I called *2 again it worked. Thanks for your tips se and other posters. I appreciate it.
