View Full Version : RAZR2 Media Player Questions

So yeah, got a few "should be" simple questions about the player.
Phone: RAZR 2

First, I've seen lots of pictures where the phone is closed, and its showing cool red bars instead of just the default song title thing. Anyone know whats up with that?

Second, I don't like my music loud, and I especially don't like others being able to hear it. But the lowest setting the phone has is loud, anything beyond that blasts out my eardrums. Is there a way to get a lower volume setting for the headset? I'm using the standard headset that came with the original RAZR.

Besides that the phone is awesome, save for its quirks and horrible port cover, hope my questions can be answered. Thanks.

I can change the skin of my media player on the M1 by going to "options" while in the player and "settings" then "skins"

Theres no options menu in the player, nor is there a player options area in the rest of the phone. This is whats really getting me, pretty odd.

Well, I've done some research and apparently Sprint has taken the minimalist route... as in those pictures up at the top is not on the same network. My question shifts a bit then. Are there any good third party music player applications out there?

Sprint seems to do this a lot... lil' bit o' false advertising. That I know of, there aren't any good 3rd party media player options for regular ol' mobile phones. This question comes up a lot, and I don't think anyone's found anything very useful yet. I could be wrong, but the lack of responses to the latest threads on this topic lead me to believe there's still a constant search for something else out there.

Those three phones in that picture are non sprint phones.

The RAZR2 below is sprints version:

Besides a few simple flukes, yes... its a very awesome phone.

But Sprint, why in this day and age do you guys feel its okay to present THAT as a music player? I mean, cummon... you people get paid enough, put something together.
