View Full Version : My Sprint is not available. Could I be in migration process?

This hasn't happened before. Is this the course of action which occurs when an account is being migrated to Ensemble?

Anyone else have this situation happen to them, its Monday at 11:00AM - has been happening for the last login tries today.

Is this a system-wide, is it my account, or am I being migrated.

Thanks for the help,
PCSuser

If I remember correctly, they tell you specifically you're being migrated in the message you get when your in the middle of migration.

It's possible the site may just be having issues for you right now. I get it from time to time myself. Just try again in a few hours, and see if it works for you then.

I get the same message at My Sprint. I haven't received anything about migration. I bet they're just doing some maintenance on the site or something.

I think it's a migration.

Mine is scheduled for today and I can't log in.

I've got the same message on my P2K acct and my Ensamble acct. It's a Sprint network issue.

As others have stated, it appears to be a network-wide issue. I've been migrated for about 2 months now, and I received the same error message.

I got the same screen. But I was scheduled for Migration today. I got a txt message, as well as a letter telling all customer care services for my account will be down 12/3 to 12/6. and ofcourse the 20% or so off on accessories and so on. But mine is down for sure for migration I know. . I have a lot of discounts.. I just hope they dont do any changes to my account.

I've come to the realization that I'll be the very last Sprint customer to have their account transitioned over. I don't like it, but that's just me being realistic.

Perhaps that means you'll avoid some of the issues I had. That's not a discussion for this thread, though.

So, the site is down for me too, but you get a free ringtone out of it, which is cool. But when I went over to the digital lounge, it froze up so I exited out of that IE window and Sprint.com opened like 40 windows in a row real fast and then closed them again.

Has anyone had that happen to them before? I've never seen that happen with the sprint site before. Should I be worried?:scare:

Appartently CS wasn't aware that the site was down. I was trying to add something to my plan and was unable to, of course. So I called. At the end of the conversation the rep was like, "If you ever want to add things in the future you can do it via the website" I told her I knew that but the site isn't working which was followed by an , "Oh".

jumonjii
12-03-2007, 02:13 PM
I guess an "oh" is better than a "duh......"

EDIT

Seems to be up now. Was able to log in...still in p2k I guess, nothing's changed.

I. Am. Legend.

The very last P2K subscriber on Earth. 3 Years I've gone without seeing another P2K subscriber.

Talked to a Business Retentions Specialist because I was having a bill problem -

Amongst other questions. I just asked when I was set to be migrated to Ensemble. She looked at my account, and it was flagged to be migrated no later than the 7th of December (this week)

Can't wait to get into Ensemble, then I can get my Pick3. Anyone hear more about he SERO 800 plans?

This would explain the randomness of MySprint not being available.

I haven't been able to get on at any point on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Further, on my Power Vision page, I don't have "My Account" listed as an option anywhere, even though the "site down" and "temporarily unavailable" messages on the Sprint page say I can access my account info from my Power Vision page.

I'm a little worried, because I just activated a new phone (upgraded my line to a Katana DLX) and added Power Vision on Saturday morning. I want to see exactly how my account is configured! How many days is this supposed to be down?

BrettW

it can take up to the first billing cycle for the sprint site to be available for your logon

Except I've been a Sprint user (on this line) since 2000. I've been on the site hundreds of times before. I just made a small change to my account (added Power Vision)- it's not a new account.

Lots of accounts have bills loaded around the first few days of the month.

The online site is occasionally not available, and from observations, seemingly moreso around beginning of month.

I am having the same problem and of course, it's during migration. It's day 9 that I haven't seen my bill and for a few hours today, I wasn't able to log onto Sprint at all! Right now, my password is being rejected and when I called Sprint to find out why, they told me that all of their systems are down and can't even access my account at all from their end (I called twice and neither reps could do it, even though they were extremely nice). The second rep told me that migration can take up to two weeks and that's a problem since my bill falls in the middle of that period. Arg sprint, arg!

Just updating to say that I was finally able to log in to the system as of yesterday (Dec. 5) afternoon. Both on the website and through the "My Account" link on my Power Vision page.

I had no access Sat - Wed morning, but it seems all is well now.

Yup, this is what happened to me last month. It said something like, "You're being moved over to our new billing system."

I thot I'd have to create a new username and password once migration is complete.. i didnt have to.. so did my account fall back and not get migrated on the scheduled dates?

Same here. I'm also quite anxious to see how the transition goes, since my account has a few stacked discounts (NVP 25% + 20% + 10%).

Same here. I was supposed to be migrated beginning of November. I even got a text and mailing from Sprint but it still shows the old accounts page.

Called up Sprint; they say there is no notation or anything of my account being transffered.

But last week no department could access my account, except Exec Services; which said there was a note saying my account was in transition.

But now its back to P2K.

I really want the Pick3 and ESN swaps!

I think we should get compensated for our accounts not being able to be accessed for the week, and then having not been transffered to Ensemble as said!

Sprint only offers online account access as a bonus, as long as your service isn't interrupted or your billing messed up I don't think you deserve anything extra.

thebigwilley
01-21-2008, 10:37 AM
Wait, what? Online access is a "bonus"? So me paying them online, which is cheaper for them and getting my bill online, again, cheaper for them and waiting while the site is down and cust. serv. tells me they don't know when it will be back up "just keep trying to log on", is a bonus? That's a crappy bonus. A bonus would be, oh, I don't know, not charging customers that have been with them for 9 years full price for a phone upgrade after selling them the A900, which is craptastic. Hmmmm, bonus... maybe not advertising you have service in a metro area and then, whoops, not in these three square miles, or, hmmmm, I don't know, maybe not forcing me to sign up for a two year contract just so I can use my text messaging and making me throw a fit for two hours to get my credits back... that would be a bonus.

Sprint is getting exactly what they deserve, plummeting market share and stock prices, I hope AT&T or some international company buys them up.

Six months to iPhone...
