when i look at what people are bidding on, why is there a letter *** and another letter (i.e: i****e)...


are those fake names?

or privacy?

Its how eBay keeps bidders identities hidden from others until the auction is over so that no one can present another offer to the current bidders.

I've had people to contact me that were not the seller and say a second chance offer or even to buy it because the winner did not want it in a matter of minutes later..... I would suggest anyone to change the user name away from anything that is related to the email account because they will spam you to death with fake offers
