Ok, Kot a RAZR V3m and the music player is it version 1.60.14. I've heard there's a newer version available that improves speed, but I haven't been able to figure out where it is or how to install it. There's no "check for upgrade" option that I can find on the phone.
Better yet (I know this is a long shot) Is there an alternative music player out there I can use instead. You know, one that was made by somebody who actually thought about making one that's useful?
Any help is appreciated.

there are other music players out there...don't know if you can get them on your phone...for instance...the centro uses pocket tunes deluxe
this downloads the v3m software to your pc and then use data cable to put on phone.when the website prompts you for your date of purchace of phone just put in a date within a year.

Bummer. It says I already have the latest software. The Sprint music store wouldn't come with the Motorola software anyway, would it?
