Hey everyone...so I have this situation, and hopefully someone can give me some guidance on what my next move should be. Here goes: I am 19 years old and have been on a family plan since I was 14. I am now in a situation in which it has become too much trouble, financially and otherwise to stay on it. I know that I can get a transfer of liability, but that is still a bit pricey for my college student budget. What I was wondering is if it would be possible to get on a SERO plan after I do the TOL? I would like to keep my number, since I've had for so long, however, I am willing to give it up if need be. I know that the SERO plan is supposed to be for new accounts, but technically if I did a TOL, it would be a new account. I am trying to avoid incurring an ETF as well, especially since I am not canceling to switch to another service provider, but instead to my own account. I'm not sure how I should go about doing this or if I will be able to do it at all. I am not trying to get over on the system or get any discounts or anything. I just want to make my life easier and make paying my own phone bill possible. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S.- A Sprint employee has given me an e-mail address to use for SERO, it's just a matter of getting the rest of the mess sorted out.
