I don't have the Rumor but I have the Muziq.

I think I am experiencing the 'rumors' and problems with this phone. This morning as I tried to delete my song and upload a different batch, I found the entire application shutting down on me. When I first tried to transfer my mp3's, I use the transfer mode. When I disconnected and tried to check to see if it was all there, I found nothing. So I tried again using the mass storage mode and was successful.

I deleted my songs for a 2nd round and was successful. Today, my 3rd round of deleting and replacing, I run into this problem. I cant even open up the 'manage memory card' option under tools. So I connected the phone back up to the computer and explorer to the folder. Tell me why I saw a magical folder along with my mp3 files?!! I tried to delete from the computer and couldn't for some reason. After thinking about it, I think the title of the folder was ".a" exactly. Where did that name come from, and why can't I delete it?

I HATE to believe this model of phone is so unreliable. My only thought at the moment is to do a full format of the memory card and try again. Too bad Im now away from the home and won't be able to do anything until this evening. (arghhh, this is why I got this phone to have my music with me).

You can put your micro sd card into a card reader and load up your songs that way. I did it for my lady's Rumor like that and it worked like a champ.

The Sprint Music Manager is only for certain phones. Not all phones can use it. I think your phone has to have a MicroSD card slot also. I'm not sure. When you go to the manager website, it will let you know if the razr 9m can. I don't remember seeing that phone on the list when I downloaded it for the LG Rumor I just got through Sprint. There are other ways to get music on your phone if not. You can go to funformobile.com and download full and complete songs to your phone. I use to do that for my last phone. The LG LX350. It didn't have a media player. You can also upload full songs you want from iTunes and then convert them to songs you can download to your phone from that site too. Hope that helps some :wavey:
