Ok let me start off by saying I'm not sure if this is in the right forum or not. If not, I apologize and if someone could please move it for me. Ok now that that's out of the way. I'm looking for a new phone. And Best Buy has the Q on sale. I know thta the newer model just came out but is there a big difference between them? I know the new one has a camera, that doesn't appeal to me since I don't take pics. Besides that what are the major differences between the phones. Trying to make an informed decision and I figured this was the best place to get information.

Well the new one comes with only an extended battery from what I have read. Both do have cameras. The Q9c has gps built in where the old Q does not. The Q9c has a better keyboard than the old one.

That's a quick difference of the 2 models. You should really go and play with the new one. I played with the Verizon one for a few minutes and the keyboard is much better than the original and I like the look and feel of it much better than the original Q.

Yeah I have plans of stopping by a sprint store after work, if I can find an actual sprint store. Mostly around here we have authorized dealers. The closest one is about 10 miles out.

Quick differences - GPS and WM6 with a better keyboard and better battery life on the Q9c, better Bluetooth and thinner on the old one.

Better bluetooth? eh...maybe with an update. I'm having static issues, less on my second one, but still a click every now and then...disppointing really. My V9m doesn't make a sound. I use the Sammy WEP200 and that sucker has been compatible with every phone I've gone through.

well in my own experience so far

the Q9c seems more responcive, the screen is sharper, i love the size of it, it fits great in my hand (the Q did also but something about the Q9c is just great) the GPS is a great addition otherwise WM6 is pretty much the same as WM5 on the Q, hopefully it gets the 6.1 update because once that comes out the Q9C will be a beast of a device so far comming from dreading the Q when i had it i love the Q9C

oh and the KB is great to type on much better then the Q

I think the BT is better on the original Q.

Your exactly right. Which is why I am waiting on a return kit for my Q9C.

Can the Q9C play Sprint TV?

Cause that was a major boo boo along with lack of MMS & NonConnecting web for me.
