With Blazer on my Centro, I always reach SU's wap site. No matter what I try, it's still impossible to access the regular web site. Did I miss anything? Any tricks?

I'm curious about something. Doesn't the WAP site show up better using Blazer? Most sites don't show up correctly on mobile phone browsers, that's why WAP versions were created in the first place. I don't understand the reasoning behind trying to access a non-WAP site on a mobile phone, where it doesn't show up correctly, or is just plain overloaded and slow.

What specifically do you want to access on SU's regular site that you can't access with the WAP version?

Maybe I'm mis-understanding something.

I agree, I would prefer a lighter faster site on the phone.

I agree that SU is just about impossible to browse on a phone in its normal format. The WAP version is much, much nicer and loads so much faster.

But if you'd like to browse it as you see it on your computer, go ahead and give it a shot. You'll need Opera Mini.

When you go to a site from the phone does it automatically detect the phone and use WAP? or is there a trick to view it in WAP?

There is no trick. The web site must have a WAP version (or interface) of the site set up. They modify some headers in the HTML, PHP or .htaccess file to direct your phone to it.

I don't think there is anyway to do it. On some websites, like engadget, you can insert ?m=false, at the end of the address bar, and it will take you to the full website, but that doesn't work on this site. I don't know if that is a universally reconized command or not, but it seems like it should be something easy to do. I would make a request in the site suggestions forum, and if its easy to do, then I imagine they would do it.
