with my xv6600 doing hard resets when i swap batteries i finally decided to give sprint a shot and ordered a touch with sero. i had a few questions still and decided to call sales. after answering my questions the woman proceeded to sign me up. when going to finalize my order the rep. asked me for the employee email address. when i stated it was savings@sprintemi.com the rep. told me she could not complete my order. so when the call ended i made the order online. hopefully my order goes through.

Wrong forum.

At any rate, you could probably use Tristen.Kime@sprint.com if there are any issues.

Tristen is a moderator I think at the buzzaboutwireless.com forum.... which is Sprint's offical forum.

Wow. This would be great, but every time I try to go to the www.sprint.com/sero page, it loads but it will not let me in it. I put in the email and it goes in. I then put in my zipcode and it tells me it is not available for me. I got it to go in like 2x, but it only showed nextel phones/plans and not sprint.

Any help? I would LOVE to check this out. My employer is also supposed to get a 15% discount as well, I even tried that "private" site and get the same bogus "not available in your area" stuff. I KNOW sprint has coverage here...I can see a tower from my window!

Any help/guidance on sero is greatly appreciated.

Could you PM me or list those codes? I'm going to be signing up for two lines very shortly, so I'm just reading as much as I can before I actually go through..Thanks!

APPARENTLY: savings@sprintemi.com using this email address, I have noticed gets people signed up for the 200 minute plan. Check your plans to make sure when you get your account set up.

well so far i received the phone (touch) yesterday and it seems tiny compared to my previous ppc phones. i'd say it's less than 1/2 the size of my 6600. sprint coverage is a bit less than vzw but i've still have a siignal. i seem to bounce between towers in some spots where i never used to. i've also double cheched my account and it shows the sero 500 ff plan so i think i'm good so far. i'll be taking a few trips this week to evaluate the coverage while i'm in my test period. thanks for the help guys.

i drove a few hundred miles today just to check coverage. i had coverage from north jersey, up to greewood lake through the catskills to our summer home in neversink. i had some coverage everywhere it seemed but speed dropped to 1x while vzw still showed ev. i can deal with the slower speed considering the limied time i am there. looks like sero is a keeper. thanks for the help.
