So in about May or so I canceled my Cingular contract and ported my phone number over to SERO. I had a few problems, but nothing that the e-care people couldn't help me with (TIP: Be very polite and they will be nice to you too!)
Anyhow the phone I picked was the Upstage, but I don't really like it at all. I would love to get a new phone but I am not sure how. Here are the facts:
I signed up with Sero w/ a 2 year plan.
I have the 500 minute plan with unlimited data/text.
E-care was nice enough to give me a 20% monthly discount simply for me asking for it. (my bill after taxes is $29.xx)
I don't mind paying full price for a phone since I am already in a contract, but where can I do this?
Do I have to pick a phone thats listed on the sero page? Do I have to order it through the SERO website or can I ebay it? (I like the Centro)
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
I do not want this to happen.
"Oh since you got a new phone its a new terms of agreement and you can't have free text/data anymore"
OR
"Oh wow look at this he is getting 20% off a month this isn't right :FIX"
Will getting a new phone have these potential issues?
If I by a phone somewhere can I take it to a sprint store switch it over? Also Can I use 2 phones at once if one is off at the time?
Thanks for all your reading/adivce
