Ok the Browns are a Cleveland based team and Cleveland does have some pretty loyal fans....i mean were in the playoffs for the Indians and the Cavs FINALLY went to a championship.....the fans will come back next season.

BUT THE BROWNS.....the tv annoucer said the other day before the pittsburgh game that they were playoff contendors. BS they won it in over time after being down the whole game and then against the steelers they were winning the whle game and lost it. they are 5-4 going into today against a team that is 4-5 lets just see what happens....post here to tell me what you think!

I've been a Ohio fan for 20 years (Ohio State, Browns, Indians, Cavs) . It's been really hard but all the teams are pretty good now and at least one of them will win it all soon.

The Browns defense used to be decent and there offense sucked but now it's reversed. I've never seen what happend in todays game how Dawson's kick hit the side goal post deflected down and hit the back part of the goal post. I'm just glad the Browns finally got a call there way for once. The Browns should've won by 14 and they had way to many penalties. I like how Romeo didn't smile after todays win. The rest of there schedule is not as hard but the Browns just need to learn how to put teams away.

Derik Anderson has 20 td's which I think is in the top five in the NFL and he broke Kosar's record.

This was Dawson's crazy kick that tied the game against the Ravens. It wouldn't play in firefox for some reason.

I forget who said it on espn but he thinks the Browns could end up 12-4 which I think they can do. At this time none of the 6 remaining games for the Browns have a winning record but like I said they can't give up win they have a lead. The Browns should've beat the Raiders and the Steelers last week. They could be the sleeper team. :fingers:

It was costly loss for the Steelers because they lost Holmes and Palama

It was costly loss for the Steelers because they lost Holmes and Palamalu.

Browns move up to 8 in the power rankings and they still haven't really played full 4 quarter game.

Yet the biggest surprise team resides in the AFC. The Browns have jumped 23 spots since the preseason when they were ranked 31st (and, actually, the Browns were dead-last when our voters were polled just before the season). Just one game back of the Steelers in the AFC North, the Browns still have a shot at their first division crown since 1989. But the Steelers own the tiebreaker by virtue of their two head-to-head wins this season, so Cleveland will need to win the division outright.

At least we dont have to play the steelers again...unless it comes down to a tie breaker. If we lose to them three times, we will get so much banter.

Go Browns!!

I'm still amazed the Browns got the right call last week. I found this side view of the kick. I don't see how the officials couldn't see that it hit the back part and went through and came back.

It was the old Browns today with 4 turnovers which led to 21 points for Arizona. :irked: I thought it was going to be another last second victory for the Browns but this time they didn't get the call. It was one hell of catch Winslow made on the final play of the game in the end zone. To me it looked like he could've landed both feet in bounds before he was pushed out of bounds but I guess the referee standing right in front didn't think so or didn't want to make the call.

I think he was FORCED out, but the problem was he would of only had 1 second on the clock. it was a good game by far! We shoulda won though. OSU GOIN ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!!

The Browns made another game close. They should have won by 14 but oh well a win is a win. Next week is a big game against the Bills.

Browns get a shutout and win 8-0 against the Bills. :) Dawson drilled a 49 yard fg in the snow which hit the back of the support again. :D

Anderson picked a bad game to have 4int's. What happens if Tenn beats the Colt's and the Browns beat the 49'ers next week?

Figured it out and the only way for the Browns to get into the playoffs is if the Colt's beat the Titans. Hopefully the 2nd string Colt's can beat the first team Titans. :fingers::fingers: If the Titans do get into that playoffs that sucks because I think the Browns are better. No one thought the Browns would have a chance to make it to the playoffs this year. I thought they were a year away from having a chance. They need a few more players on d.

This could be good news for the Brownies. Marvin Harrison has been out with a injury and might play against the Titans. Manning might stay out longer to practice on there timing. :fingers:

The Colts 3rd team had a chance to beat the Titans. Oh well I never thought the Browns had a chance to make the playoffs this year. I'm happy they won 10 games and hopefully they get better on defense next year.

Back from the dead...

Dam the Browns swung some heavy trades on Friday to add almost 700 pounds to their defensive line (Corey Williams, Shaun Rogers). The Browns signed Jamal Lewis, Derek Anderson and Donte Stallworth. :) I kind of thought the Browns should let Anderson go and get draft picks but it's always a good thing to have two good QB's. I know there's a lot of Brady Quinn doubters but he will show them that he can play. I know he didn't win to many big games at Notre Dame but he has a lot more talent surrounding him in Cleveland.

We'll see what they are going to do this season. I love watching the Browns play the Steelers! I don't think there are 2 teams that hate each other more (on the field)...:Popcorn2:
