I was under the impression that my plan included free evenings that went from 7pm to 7am. When I was talking to the sales guy in a Sprint corporate store on Sunday and making conversation while waiting I asked him to confirm the time and he assured me that it did indeed start at 7pm.
Last night I registered my new phone on the sprint.com web site. I noticed that the web site says my Fair and Flex Family 550 plan starts free evenings at 9pm?!
"Night & Weekend Minutes are included in most Sprint PCS Service Plans and are used from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday."
Any idea what's up w/ this? I guess I need to call Sprint?
Thanks again guys!

How long ago did you sign up for that Plan? It used to be that you had to add $5 a month for your night and weekend minutes to start at 7pm, but a couple of years ago they changed that. The plan that's offered now is the Power Pack for families 550. It's pretty much the same thing, except it doesn't come with the fair and flexible minutes. Also, if you have them change it, you may have to extend your contract for doing so....so if you're looking to upgrade your phone soon, you may want to wait until you do that, since you'll have to renew your contract anyway. One of the things that is changing soon, is that you won't have to renew your contract when you change your plans, but I don't think it's in effect yet.

yes, the 7pm n&w's didnt come with the fair and flexible plans. you had to pay an extra $5 a month to get them to start at 7 instead of 9. the 7pm didnt come included until the power pack plans.

Not correct. Some fair and flex plans had the 9pm start minutes, some had 7pm start minutes and others had 7pm start and "roaming included" minutes.
The "power pack" plans have had the pm start time and roaming included in every plan since sprint switched to that version.
To the OP: Have you looked to see if an attachment was made to your primary line for adding 7pm nights? You may have 7pm at a $5 charge with offsetting $5 credit. :thought:
